The Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) and the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority (MBTA) have announced the launch of the Water Transportation Study, which will seek to develop and evaluate options for new potential regional ferry service to, from and between communities along the Massachusetts coast including Chelsea..
They need input on recommended locations for new ferry routes, terminals, facilities, and improvements to existing ferry service. They want to hear from you, the riders and residents of the region, because you know your neighborhoods and the trips you make.
