Who should take it?
Youth MHFA is designed to provide tools and information to increase understanding and strategies to respond to a young person (age 12-18) who may be experiencing symptoms associated with mental illness or substance use. This program is recommended for adults who work with youth as well as parents, family members, caregivers, teachers, school staff, peers, neighbors, health and human services workers, and other caring citizens.
The training is being offered free by the Cambridge Health Alliance in collaboration with and made possible through a grant from the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).
