Round #3 of LISC Grants open now

Thanks to support from funders like Verizon (our member, thank you!) and Sam’s Club, LISC (Local Initiatives Support Corporation) is providing grants to small businesses, to help them keep functioning and remain vital facets of their local economies through this challenging period.

Round 3 is open now.  I know for some of you, this is old hat as you applied for rounds one and two; so you should be able to knock this one out in short order.  This support is especially for those in underserved communities like Chelsea, including entrepreneurs of color, women- and veteran-owned businesses that often lack access to flexible, affordable capital.

Here’s something of which I was unaware during rounds one and two:  the final grantees will be randomly selected from the top scoring applicants.  So it’s all in the numbers, folks.  Third time is the charm?

Before completing the application, it is recommended that you review the Grant Information Overview and FAQ, which can be found here

Click here to apply. Your application must be completed by Wednesday, May 20th, 11:59 p.m. ET.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • For business owners with multiple businesses, please answer this survey based on your largest business owned.
  • Each awardee is limited to one grant.
  • Grants will be made to qualified businesses and based on accurate and complete submission and verification of required documentation.
  • This round of applications must be completed byWednesday, May 20th, 11:59 p.m. ET.
