Back to School Vaccination Event / – this Saturday (8/7)! / Evento de vacunacion de regreso a clases
Update:
One small update for the group.
The additional Saturday pop-up referenced below (highlighted), in partnership with GotVax, that was initially scheduled to take place at Iglesia La Luz Del Mundo (130 London Street) will now be taking place at 282 Meridian Street at the EBECC offices. There will be GotVax staff located at the church to redirect any individuals that do not get the message in time.
The EBNHC Back-to-School Initiative event at 79 Paris Street, in partnership with Boston Public Health Commission, is continuing as described previously. Thank you to those who have already shared the attached materials. Let’s continue to spread the word before this weekend!
EBNHC will be participating in the Boston Public Health Commission’s Back to School Initiative, creating additional vaccine capacity this Saturday to support the vaccination of youth and their families as the school year approaches. BPHC will be on-site handing out $25 Market Basket gift cards to those who are vaccinated. Everyone 12+ is welcome! Youths 12 to 17 will need a signed consent form.
Attached are flyers in both English and Spanish to help with outreach. Consent and registration information is included on the flyers. Information is also available on the EBNHC website.
Please note that there will still be the weekly Saturday pop-up clinic at Iglesia La Luz del Mundo (130 London Street) from 9 AM to 4 PM, in partnership with GotVax. Gift cards will be distributed at this site as well, in line with BPHC’s Back to School Initiative. No appointment needed.
We ask that you please share this information with your contacts, especially those who are returning to the classroom in the fall! If you have any questions, don’t hesitate to reach out.
