Chelsea Community Cookbook / Libro de Cocina Comunitaria de Chelsea

Thank you to everyone who contributed to our Chelsea Community Cookbook in collaboration with the Chelsea Public Library! We’re making a final call to collect bios and photos from those who submitted a recipe. If you’ve not submitted a photo or bio along with your recipe, please email Jordan at jordanl@greenrootschelsea.org or call Iliana at (617) 875-4350 by Monday morning (January 16th). Send us a direct message with any questions!

The City of Chelsea will be hosting a virtual community meeting next Wednesday, January 18, 2023 at 6:00 pm. This will be a virtual meeting with the intent to present the final design, based on feedback from the previous community meetings, for the reconstruction of the Franklin Avenue historic staircase.

2nd Annual Chelsea Research Festival / 2do anual Festival de Investigación de Chelsea

The Chelsea Research Festival is coming back!
Submit a poster to the Festival, which will be held on Thursday, May 18: http://bit.ly/chelsearesearch The deadline for submissions is March 17.
To present a poster, your research either has to be ABOUT Chelsea (conducted by anybody), or the research has to be conducted BY a Chelsea community member (about anything).
It doesn’t matter what role you played in the research (you do not need to be the leader of the study) or what field the research is in!
Last year’s Chelsea Research Festival was a great success, featuring faculty and students from universities like Harvard and BU, hospitals like MGH, Chelsea High School students, city officials, and folks from community organizations.
