The City of Chelsea has been working with the Metropolitan Area Planning Council (MAPC) to develop a Fair Housing Action Plan that works to eliminate housing discrimination and residential segregation in Chelsea. Over the past year, under the direction of the Plan’s Committee, we have spoken to many residents to understand housing barriers faced. With that feedback, the City and MAPC have developed a number of potential solutions, and we would like to know which would most positively impact the community.
We are asking residents to complete the Fair Housing Plan Policy & Program Priority Survey, available until September 11, 2023 on the City’s website at https://www.chelseama.gov/
