Community Impact Consulting: Request for Proposals

Highland Street’s Community Impact Consulting program is designed to help position nonprofits for future growth and sustainability by addressing a specific need within an organization.

HSF partners with experienced, passionate, results-oriented consultants and pairs them with selected nonprofit organizations for a six-month engagement. Community Impact Consultants seek to address strategic issues such as:

  • Fundraising/Development Planning
  • Strategic Plan Development
  • Stakeholder Engagement
  • Strategic Communications
  • Marketing/Branding
  • Board Development & Governance
  • Accounting and Financial Planning

Organizations interested must submit a proposal by the deadline. Please be as specific as possible when outlining the organization’s need for consulting services.


To be eligible, organizations must be based in Massachusetts, a 501(c)3, and have an operating budget between $500,000 and $4million. Priority will be given to organizations who have not been selected to participate in the past.

Application Timing and Process:

The deadline to apply is 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. Highland Street Foundation will announce the recipients at the end of June. The consulting engagements will run from July1 through December 31, 2022.
