Crises are not experienced equally. The response to the COVID-19 pandemic has shone a light on, and worsened, existing inequities. Inequitable structures and policies are endangering our most vulnerable populations. Caregivers, frontline workers, immigrants, and hourly wage workers—who are often people and women of color—are particularly vulnerable. Join us for this online event as we explore the intersections of race, gender, and the COVID-19 pandemic. We will look at COVID-19 responses in Massachusetts and discuss how community members and leaders can be supportive during this time.
