Chelsea, It’s Time to Get the Lead Out (GLO)! / ¡Chelsea, es hora de sacar el plomo (GLO)!

Did you know the water💧pipe that runs from the street to your home could be made out of lead?
This pipe is called a “service line.” If you have a service line made of lead, lead might get into your drinking water. Lead in drinking water can have serious health risks, especially to children (schedule a blood lead test with your healthcare provider if they are under the age of six).
The Good News: The City of Chelsea, GreenRoots 🌳, and Clean Water Fund want to keep you safe. GreenRoots will knock on Maverick and Suffolk Street doors on September 25th, 26th, October 1st, and 2nd to set up appointments with the City Water Representatives to check for lead service lines.
The appointment is free and takes no more than 5 minutes!
