People age 12 and older who live, work, or study in Massachusetts can get vaccinated against COVID-19. People ages 12-17 can only get the Pfizer vaccine. People age 18 and older can get any vaccine. The vaccine is safe and effective. You don’t need an ID or insurance to get it.

*Parents/guardians do not need to be present when their child gets the vaccine. Parents that can not come with their children must sign a consent form and the screening for their children.

Pre-register at https://vaccinesignup.mass.gov/#/ to receive the vaccine at one of the Commonwealth’s mass vaccination locations like the Hynes Convention Center or Reggie Lewis Center. When it’s your turn, you will be notified.
If you are unable to leave your home, please contact 311 Service at 617-466-4209 for assistance. We will put you on a waiting list for a future vaccination in your home.
If you are a patient of Mass General Hospital Chelsea or Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Chelsea, you can receive the vaccine from these health providers. You must be an existing patient and eligible for the vaccine. Both MGH and Beth Israel will reach out to eligible patients to schedule an appointment.
Free Transportation Services for Seniors 70+
Mystic Valley Elder Services(*) also offers free transportation services to eligible seniors who do not have other means to get to a vaccination site. Schedule your transportation at least two days before your vaccine appointment at You are responsible for making your vaccine appointment. Make sure to call (781) 324-7705. This service offers a ride to and from the vaccination site, and insurance is not needed. It is curb to curb pick up, which means the person must be able to safely exit/enter their home. If the person needs a companion, a companion may ride along in plenty of time.
(*) This service should be reserved for individuals who do not have the social support/ financial support to get to a vaccination site.
