Revere Beach Winter Wonderland

The Boston Harbor Now Sculpture Stroll is coming to Revere! Hosted by the Revere Beach Partnership and in partnership with Next Stop Revere and the Waterfront Square Businesses, join us for a #WinterWonderland as we bring ice sculptures to #RevereBeach!
On December 31st, beginning at 10 am, guests are encouraged to stroll along Revere Beach and Waterfront Square at their leisure to view these amazing works of art. While on your journey, be sure to visit Mission Beach House, FINE LINE, and Dryft Revere for specialty cocktails and free hot cocoa!
Locations and activations include:
• The base of the Markey Bridge – Ice Sculpture presented by the Revere Beach Partnership
Dryft Revere – Live Ice Carving Demonstration (11 am – 2 pm)
Mission Beach House – Specialty eggnog beverages with 50% of proceeds benefiting the Revere Beach Partnership
• Shirley Ave. + Garfield Ave. – Two ice sculptures presented by Next Stop Revere

Applications for the Second Round of the CHELSEA EATS Program are now open!

Funded by The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds, the Second Round of Chelsea Eats Program is open to all income-eligible Chelsea residents who meet the program’s criteria, regardless of their immigration status: 

  • Be a Chelsea resident.

  • Submit a fully completed application

  • Your household income must be at or below 30% of the HUD Area Median Income (AMI). To know if you qualify, please check the table below.

The City will hold a weighted lottery to select the new recipients. All cards distributed on the program’s first round are expired and will not be reloaded; recipients must reapply to be entered into the lottery. 

All eligible applicants will be entered into the lottery. Preference will be given to applicants with children under 18, disabled residents, veterans, seniors 65+, families who are ineligible for other forms of government assistance, families with a female-identifying head of household, families with a member self-identifying with a minoritized/marginalized gender-identity. 

 

DEADLINE: The deadline for applications is January 6, 2023 at 12pm. 

HOW TO APPLY: 

  • Hard copies are available at City Hall, Office 101, during business hours (Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8 am to 4 pm, Tuesday 8 am to 7 pm, and Friday 8 am to 12 pm). 

    Completed applications must be dropped off at City Hall, Office #101, or at the Green Drop Box at the Washington Ave. entrance.

La Ciudad llevará a cabo una lotería ponderada para seleccionar a los nuevos beneficiarios. Todas las tarjetas distribuidas en la primera ronda del programa están vencidas y no se recargarán; los destinatarios deben volver a presentar una solicitud para participar en la lotería.

Todos los solicitantes elegibles entrarán en la lotería. Se dará preferencia a los solicitantes con niños menores de 18 años, residentes discapacitados, veteranos, personas mayores de 65 años, familias que no son elegibles para otras formas de asistencia del gobierno, familias con un cabeza de familia que se identifica como mujer, familias con un miembro que se identifica a sí mismo con un identidad de género minorizada/marginada.

 

FECHA LÍMITE: La fecha límite para las solicitudes es el 6 de enero de 2023 a las 12:00 p. m.

CÓMO APLICAR

  • Las copias impresas están disponibles en el City Hall, Oficina 101, durante el horario de atención al público (lunes, miércoles y jueves de 8 am a 4 pm, martes de 8 am a 7 pm y viernes de 8 am a 12 pm). Las solicitudes completas deben entregarse en el City Hall, Oficina #101, o en el Buzón Verde en la entrada de la Avenida Washington.
